How the PT.33 process works

WEED.TH is designed to make it clear that the PT.33 is the key medical document. If approved, the PT.33 is issued as a physical wet-ink original that is mailed, and a matching digital copy is also attached to your card record and email delivery.

Thailand does not currently operate a centralized public portal where every PT.33 can be independently checked in real time. In practice, prescription reliability depends heavily on the issuing licensed medical professional and the quality of the provider process.

• There is no single government website where patients can instantly verify every PT.33.
• Dispensaries and authorities may evaluate prescriptions individually.
• Patients should be cautious of instant approvals, automated approvals, card-only offers, or workflows that do not clearly issue a physical original PT.33 where required for dispensary use.

WEED.TH is structured around a documented consultation workflow rather than instant approval. Patients submit their general information, complete a required medical questionnaire, and provide video responses through a licensed telemedicine system. A licensed medical professional reviews that information before an approval decision is made.

• Each case is reviewed by a licensed medical professional through a licensed telemedicine system before approval.
• Payment does not guarantee approval.
• Medical professionals are compensated for consultation work regardless of whether a prescription is approved or rejected.
• If a patient is not approved, appointment and prescription-processing fees are refunded as a patient protection policy.

• A PT.33 prescription issued as a physical original with wet-ink signature and stamp.
• A matching digital PT.33 copy delivered through the card system and email.
• A digital cannabis card tied to the same validity period as the PT.33.

Within the WEED.TH workflow, the PT.33 prescription remains the main document. The card is a companion access and discount tool, not a substitute prescription form.

If you are approved, a physical PT.33 original is always produced. The mailing destination depends on how you applied.

• If you used a participating partner shop, the original PT.33 is mailed directly to that shop.
• If you applied directly through CARD.WEED.TH without selecting a shop, the original PT.33 is mailed directly to you.
• In all cases, a matching digital PDF copy is also provided through the card system and sent by email.

• At shops outside the card discount program, present the original physical PT.33 document issued through CARD.WEED.TH.
• At participating dispensaries in the WEED.TH cannabis card program, present your cannabis card to receive available discounts.
• Do not present the cannabis card itself to authorities as a prescription document. The PT.33 remains the primary prescription document.

For regulatory checks, the PT.33 remains the primary document to present. The issued PT.33 includes a QR code and prescription ID for document matching and verification, and the matching digital PT.33 copy can also be presented when needed.
